i quit my job kinda got fired for not selling enough product in one month, my problem is i wasn't even working for one month. They are giving me all sorts of problems and when i went in there to get my check and return my key they said they'd send on Friday. is that legal at all someone please help me

Each state has different laws. In some states you can demand your check now. Others, you have to wait until the next payday. I would check with the state where you live to find out what recourse you have. |

Yes, it's legal, sometimes the company you work for has to get the payroll from a home office, they have to wait for theirs too. |

Check your state web site to see when final wages are due to you for being fired. Each state differs on this. But it is legal for an employer to mail the check to you, as long as it is postmarked by the date it is due. |

It's been know to happen. I live in Oklahoma and every job that I've quit has sent my check through the mail. They didn't even let me know about it until after I went up there on payday. |
