Is it possible to cancel a claim for Job Seekers Allowance?

I understand that I'm only allowed a couple of weeks Annual Leave but I'm going to have to travel home more often than that, as family are not well. If I sacrificed my claim, would this rule still apply?

When my partner was claiming, We went on holiday for a while, Instead of cancelling his claim they just pushed his sign on date forward for when we got back, It meant that we was left without money for that little while longer but didnt have to mess about re-claiming.
I think you should go and ask at the jobcentre though because there is so many rules, its hard to say what will happen, But i know there is certain rules for travelers to sign on so maybe you could ask about that, maybe they will let you sign on in your parent local jobcente, Its best to pop in or give them a call

You dont have to cancel anything.If you dont sign on they cancell the claim for you and you wont get any money.If you dont go to the interview for your claim then they wont go ahead with the claim |

you can talk to them about it so you could either sign somewhere else or they would keep it open 4 ur return |

UK. you don't get holidays while on job seekers, you cant go out the country or your money gets stopped, if its within the UK tell them you are going for an interview in that area, I think you get travelling expenses, if you tell them you need time to spend with family it will stop as you have got to be available for work. |

You can cancel any claim by writing in or better taking a letter
in and getting a photo copy. |
