For example, you live in one state and are looking for a job in another. You don't need relocation assistance and can start work immediately. If you can't come interview in person, but are willing to do a phone interview, do you think you can get hired based on your resume and interview over the phone; although, the employer has not seen you in person (your appearance, demeanor, etc.)

I have interviewed people over the phone, & then moved on to over the internet or satellite interviews, with a final in-person interview. Depending on the level of the job the company may fly you in for the interview. |
