I use to work for this place and have noticed in the past 2 years that there are ads in the paper for a job for the same position in there at least every 6 months. I am a bit concerned that this is a game to these people and living in the world we live in they are playing with peoples lives. She is a "so called office manager" she works out of her home and trains you via phone---never came into the office---her husband a dentist! Does anyone know of anywhere to contact to put a stop to this!??? It does to seem to be a game and its not right! When I worked there I remember a comment made by an employee there that is friends with this so called office manager there was 3 of us all hired in at the same time and she said "I wonder which one of you is going to last and for howlong"! So this is well known there and I really think it is wrong! How do I have someone investigate if this is wrong?

They are skirting the law to avoid paying taxes...
If that is so, make a complaint to the IRS about tax fraud.
Also go to michigan.gov and report tax fraud / unemployment fraud in the civil service / department of management and budget state websites.
They will snoop pretty good... bad economy and stuff, these vultures will smeel blood and come in for the kill if this place is hiring people and firing them for under 6 months.... they do this to avoid paying into the unemployment, thus also taxes as well...
They will get busted if you contact the right people.
Michigan is a at-will state but they can still be penalized for dismissing youre employment unjustly, in this case, skirting from paying into the unemployment insurance controlled by the State. |

It is legal in MI to fire someone even for no reason. There is no place to contact to "put a stop to this". - Michigan is what's called an employment at will state (most US states are) - that means you can quit, or be terminated, at any time with or without a reason.
A company would be pretty stupid to just fire people and rehire every 6 months. Doing this as a game would make no sense
And by the way, O H's answer is wrong - they don't avoid paying the taxes. |

That's modern day America for you. wish I knew how to put a stop to it but it happens all over. It's a result of our current and previous presidents changing laws to favor big business. |

Michigan is an "At Will" state, which means they can fire you without cause. And if it is a private business, they can hire you and let you go the same day if they want.
Life in America isn't in the best interest of the middle class. |
