I'm 19 and I work at quiznos, my boss makes his wife work open to close every day of the week. he cut my hours recently, i went from getting nearly 45 hours a week available for me down to about 20. He tells me that if I want more hours, I can work 7 days a week. Also he says i'm scheduled to work 6 days a week.
is my boss allowed to make work 6 days a week (and for less than 30 hours)? Is there nothing I can do about this?

YES
Is there "nothing" I can do about this?
NO...you can quit or you can work what you are scheduled.
in only a VERY few states does the law mandate one day off in seven and "right-to-work" has absolutely nothing to do with this issue. |

As long as he pays overtime properly for going over 40 hours in one week, he can make you work as many days as he wants. |

As long as he pays you for the hours you work, and overtime for over 40 hours in one week, he can schedule you to suit the business's needs. You can do this job or find another one. Finding another is going to be difficult in this economy. |

He isn't doing anything illegal. Your only option if you aren't willing to work the hours he wants you to, is to quit. |

Most likely there is no way that you can do anything about that its a part time job so he can do what he wants. |
