Is there a specific law dictionary everyone uses?

I'm getting into the legal field, and I want to just look at a legal dictionary to see what it's all about. So does anyone know what the standard law dictionary everyone uses is?

Black's Legal Dictionary.

The "standard" law dictionary is Blacks Law Dictionary, now in its 8th edition, edited by Bryan Gardner. Earlier editions are cheaper and almost always have the definitions you need.

Alternatively, you can use FindLaw's legal dictionary online, which is free. If you have access to westlaw, you can use Blacks Law Dictionary on there as part of your westlaw account (use the database "blacks").

I have both Black's and Websters. I think Black's has more terms but Webster's is simpler. Believe it or not, in your study you might still find words that are not included in either--or if you do find them, the definitions don't match the context of what you are reading, especially if you are studying UCC!

I don't know much about law, but I believe there is one called Bradley, huge fat book. But that book deals specifically with finance.

I imagine there are different standards for different fields of law.
