I would like to convince a large group of peoplethat a music video is being made for a major rapper yet the video is never released. We would have castings, promotional products, and all that stuff but it would be a total waste of time for the people involved.

Legal?
Yes (generally) as far as criminal court is concerned unless someone was hurt on his or her way to the fictitious audition or someone was to lose income from work etcetera. In these instances you could be held liable in civil court for any damages that resulted due to your prank and if a death or injury resulted you could "possibly" face criminal charges. |

Sounds like kind of a dumb thing to do, but probably nothing illegal about it. Why would you want to waste your time on something like that, though? |
