In response to my other question, someone said "That being a lawyer would be a bad investment and there are to many and i would not get hired." Is this true, whats your opinion?

It's the same like with all other jobs, it goes in cycles. Some years it's hard to get jobs, some years it's easy. It depends on how the global economy grows/contracts etc. as a general rule you will get hired some day, if you have a good education like a law degree.
But what he said wasn't true because of another thing as well. Because lawyers retire all the time the market needs to hire x number of lawyers every year, and if you are good there is no reason why you shouldn't get hired.
Lawyer is definitely not one of those profession which is nearly impossible to get hired as. |
