So I am a freshman at a public 4 year university. It's actually like 2nd or 3rd in the state and is very competitive to get into. I always did well in hs and got a 26 on my act so i was expected to go to a good college. I turned down the best college in my state to go to one closer. Anyway I'm majoring in political science. I have always wanted to be a lawyer. However I don't like college! I'm not used to trying and I can't read the texts. I have been thinking about being a paralegal instead because I do love law. My school doesn't offer a program and the only one is at a local tech college. Tech school has such a bad reputation for accepting anyone and I'm not sure whether or not I should go there. I really think it's what I want to do, but I'm having a hard time turning up a bachelor's degree for a tech degree. Any suggestions/comments?!

Jobs in the field of Law are drying up FAST!! This is not a good field to invest time and/or money in!! Many reasons. Main reason?....We simply have WAY TOO MANY Legal Professionals - we have a GLUT! ("Legal Professionals" includes, but is not limited to: Attorneys/Lawyers, Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Legal Secretaries, Bailiffs, Court Reporters, etc, etc)
If you don't like college, forget about being an Attorney. Because you'll need to continue your schooling and collecting CEUs just to keep your license as long as you want to practice law, that is.
If you want a JOB when you are done with your studies, consider and look into the field of HEALTHCARE!< THIS is where the jobs are! even with your background. and scholarships!
