Legal Help Can i sue a Company?

i need help i need to sue a magazine Company Called Viking Magazine company they are falsly saying they are sending my subscriptions when they are not i would like to know can i sue them for my money back even though money is deducted from my bank accoud they say i cannot cancel this service because its to late what should i do

I am not getting the magazines they say they have shipped i am getting Oprah Fine Living magazines and other magazies i do not read so yes its kinda worth it

I am not an attorney but here is what I could do.

1. If you are not receiving the subscription, stop payment with your bank.

2. Send a certified letter to the company explaining the issues.

3. You can often prorate a subscription. I can't imagine a magazine subscription costing even $100.00 So what is your loss?

5. Suing them will not get you more than your costs back plus court costs if you win. You will have to sue them in their state. That will prob cost you a lot to travel there to file, then to have them served, then to plead you case.

You can sue, but is it worth it. Here in IL it cost about 125.00 just to file. I sued a bank for 500.00, so it was worth it. They issued a check the day before court. So if it is worth whatever your cost, do it they will not hire an attorney and pay you out almost certainly. but threats of suing will do nothing.

well first thing is first close your account and open a new one so they cant bill you, cause there will be no money in the account. or you can ask your bank to deny the withdrawls from the magazine company.
To sue them first you need to talk to a lawyer to see if you have a good case if you lost like 100 dollars or so its not worth it if you lost 500 or so then you probably have a case. Most states the felony marker is $250.00 so if its more than that you can press felony charges and might be able to put the owner in jail if it is a small magazine company.

Sure.....you can sue anyone, antime, any amount, any reason as long as you can afford it......call your bank and get a new account....
