Threaten bodily harm to myself and my family (parents and siblings) This person was told that their conversation was being recorded. (and it was)

I dont know how legal it is to record telephone calls, but if they were told they were being recorded and threatened on, then call the police and let them deal with the moron. |

Yes, I believe so. That's harassment at the very minimum. In today's day and age, the police take these things seriously. You never know when someone is just talk or really planning something. You should contact your local police office and explain the situation. Why take chances? Good luck. |

Call authorities immediately |
|

Jeff C

Yes, if you indeed recorded the conversation. The local authorities can take the tape and prove a nice case of terroristic threatening. |
|

Ashleigh S
|
well, i would say no, but since you have recorded it, then maybe you could have them charged, next time make sure you tell them they are being recorded though, otherwise they can charge you for recording their privacy of the conversation. |

Yup, threat to harm is a terroristic threat.

Oh my god drama drama drama. Where I live (Bay Area) charges can be pressed. But I mean what kind of lame would actually press charges? Only the kind that is making the threats! Why don;t you call his bluff? Call him a sissy princess. DON'T TALK ABOUT IT BE ABOUT! RUN UP OR SHUT UP! HANDLE IT THEN! These are all things you should be saying to them. Odds are they won't do ****. And please don't record conversations that is just asking for trouble. You must like having drama problems like this if you have a recorder by your phone. |
