According to the Dept. of Labor the federal minimum wage is $5.15. Some states like Florida are higher, $6.67. You will have to look up your state's minimum wage to see if it's higher. |

Be careful though because if you are under 18 years of age they only have to pay you the sub-minimum wage. Which is I believe 23% of the state's minimum, unless your state is the same as the federal. |

Federal Minimum wage is $5.15
You can google the state you live in, because each state is different.
CA minimum wage is $7.50. But each city can raise it above that if they want to. San Francisco's minimum wage is $9.14 an hour.
