My Employer just told me they are getting their lawyers after me?

So, this past week, I was given a form by my employer, saying for me to sign to give them consent to talk with my Psychiatrist. Today, I told them I would not sign. They want to know what Medications I take.

Ok, I just finished work at 5:00 p.m. Just before I left, HR department called me. Asked me why I didn't sign. I told them I don't feel comfortable. So they told me, "Alright, we will be getting our lawyers involved"

Now, this has been on-going process, because of my Human Rights case against them, more details are in other questions I have posted.

But what do I do now?? No, I can't afford a lawyer. I want to crawl in a hole and die. :(

What business do they have just asking your meds? Tell them you still take a multivitamin to help stay healthy and that they should mind their own business.
What state do you live in? Laws are different everywhere so more info would help if you want advice.

When you initiate action (human rights action or other) you may be required by a court to supply access to whatever records the court feels are relevant.
LAWYERS would ordinarily be retained to ask the court to require that information so that they can prepare their defense.

Usually, if there is nobody showing up in court to argue your right to keep records private, courts will order that the records be made available.

A public defender will be assigned to you by the court if you can not afford one for these hearings. Just ask the court clerk in advance or the magistrate hearing their motion for discovery.

They may be entitled to call your analyst as a witness even if they may not ask for a full statement from same. In this case they would be limited as to what questions they may ask, questions relevant to the action. In that case, they can likely depose your analyst in advance, but with your lawyer present during the deposition.

Tell HR "since you don't pay much, a attorney from the ADA( Americans with Disablities Act- gov't watchdog) will be representing me" and there are free legal clinics in your area that will handle your case.........

If management is concerned about safety & health issues as stated via past practice & manuals, they are well within their rights to protect the company, employees, contractors and customers from undue risk. So be prepared to pony up the info.
Otherwise, they are treading on very thin ice and risk a costly and embarassing lawsuit. Fail Labor Standards Act available at any library will address your rights as an individual.
