Sounds like motorcycle helmets and baseball bat time.
Failing which, turn up personally and be loud in front of the customers until they do something about their discusting behaviour. |

Get in touch with the Dept. of Labor for your state, they will help you get your money. Unfortunately it is not always quick, but you will get it. Additionally, the restaurant will incur a very large fine for trying to cheat you and will come under investigation in other areas. You will get your money, it will cost them a lot of extra money, and the manager will either loss his job or at the very least, that restaurant will never pull anything like that again. |

Go to your local Employment office and or Dept of labor. They have people who enforce this type of action. Levy fines on those employers who don't comply and give you avenues to address the issue legally. |

Dont let them get away this this. Either consult a lawyer or find a local labour board depending on where you live. This is usually a free service. In Canada we have the Canada Labour Board and the Ministry of Labour and they both protect employees rights depending on the nature of the business you are filing a claim against. Make sure you keep all correspondence and document when you tried to call, conversations etc. |

What your ex-employer is doing is illegal .... get an attorney and sue him .. (make sure you make him pay for the court costs.) |

Well, I don't exactly know the answer but my parents own a restaurant. Whenever a employee gets fired or quits I ask my mom why she always calls an employee after she/he quit already like a day or two after. She said to me that she always calls them to get the money that she owed them:) Then I asked "do you have to do that?" my mom said "yes, you HAVE to otherwise it isn't fair and right". (she's the owner of the restaurant)-
Idk if that helped but they should give the money they owed you ^.^ |
