I live in CO. I wish to cancel my direct deposit at work. My employer says that direct deposit is now mandatory for all employees and it cannot be cancelled. Is this legal?

Is this legal?
NO...probably not but since you already approved it and now want it changed that may play a role in the decision
(as i read the law it should not matter if you have been paid this way in the past)

Absolutely not.If your employer pushes the issue,tell him,her that you do know better.Your employer can not force you to franchise any certain banking system.Don't be rude though.Push the issue politely...it is your job,your choice. |
