Alot of companies like construction and fishing, or other labor type jobs that hire convicted felons. I wouldn't give up. I also found this comment doing some research for you so you might want to check out the site the person talks about --------
It is very difficult, but with patience and persistance-it is possible.
I am having the same problem. I made a stupid mistake a few years ago and now have 2 class 5 felony counts showing. Although I did not have to serve any time in jail(only probation) it is still hard. But not impossible. I am now working with a company I found that helps to get your recorders expunged. It's worth the $200. The name of the company is "remove it" it's an organization that helps felons get their record cleaned up and get a good job. I don't work for them so don't think I'm giving you a sales pitch, just thought this might help. My record is set to be expunged in 6 months. That's the time limit the judge gave me to show him I was making an "effort'. Guess it worked, March 9th my records will be officially expunged and sealed. Hope this helps and good luck. Why is this a "we" thing?
He sounds lazy to me. Why can't he find his own job or is he planning on your finding it for him so all he has to do is show up?
That is reason alone not to date convicted felons. |
