Contact your local bar association and see if they can give you a referral to a lawyer specializing in employment law. The BBB won't be able to help you on this as it's not a customer complaint. You can also call your state department of labor and file a complaint. You may consider that filing a complaint with the department of labor will be a lot cheaper than an attorney in this case. Since I have no idea what state you are in I can't give you any links.

In addition to contacting Bar Associations go to www.dol.gov This is the Department of Labor website. You can file a complaint online for the missing paychecks. Your state may also have a Department of Labor office that will assist you.

Depending on the amount of the paychecks, you may want to attempt to get the Department of Labor involved before you sign with an attorney. Sometimes work by an attorney can cost more than what the client will get - in your case the amount of the paychecks. Good luck.

I would write a letter to his former boss and demand that he get paid for the 2 paychecks or other action will follow. Send 1 regular, 1 certified and keep a copy of the letter.

Definately report them to the BBB. What they are doing is illegal.

Go to the Labor Board. Better Business Bureau usually deals with customer complaints. Try not to get lawyers involve because it could you money. I maybe ignorant

Call your state labor board...

you can google it or visit your state government webpage. you shouldn't need a lawyer to receive a paycheck.

The BBB is useless. Go to the Labor Board, then if you must an attorney.
