I have a friend who got scammed by a lawyer. My friend paid the lawyer a great amount of money to handle a case, and the lawyer did not do anything at all. This was 4 years ago. My friend has called him many times and the lawyer insults and screams at my friend. He ignores and avoids his calls. NOW, they are trying to get the papers for the case back and the lawyer wil not give them their money or the papers back. What can Be Done!!! ( SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!)

Your friend needs to report this to the local Bar Association, who will investigate.
HE needs to report it. Not you, since you do not have the requisite knowledge of the actual situation. |
