i need to call an employer at a golf shop to see if i got the job what should i say?

I think calling to see if you're being considered for the job is a good idea. It shows that you are really interested. I would call and ask for the employer, tell them my name and when I interviewed and say that I was very interested in the job and would like to know if the position is still open or if a decision has been made. If the employer hesitates, I would repeat my name and ask him to please give consideration to my application, that I would be a valuable employee and do a good job for him/her. (kiss up, kiss up) End by thanking him for his time. He will know that you have good manners and that may give him a reason to look your application over again. Good luck. |

Call and ask for the person who gave you the interview. When they get on tell them who you are again. Than say " I'm calling to see what will happen next in my employement process. If your hired he will say come in next..........If your not he will say sorry the position is filled. Good luck. |

Tell the person who you are and just tell them that you are calling because you want to check back with them about the job offer. |

Just call and say you're ringing to follow up on your application, you're still interested in the position and you would like to know if they've made a decision yet. |

It should be informal. Just say that it is a courtesy call and inquire about the job, without exhibiting any anxiety about the job !! |

Follow up is a key strength that a lot employers look for. Show that you are on top of your game by stating in the phone call that you were "just following up" after your recent interview.
