No pay from work can someone help!?

I have been working at family dollar store for about 4 weeks now so last week was suppose to been my first pay check. I have not receive my check yet. The only thing they is saying is wait til this day, wait til this day and I am still not receiving my check what should I do.

I don't know how bad you need this job or how bad they need you.
I would say no pay, no work. Call me when you want to pay me.
Ask them if they would like people to take the merchandise and promise to pay them later and keep changing the date. They are doing the same thing to you. |

google for your state's wage and hour commission. or check your state's website and use their search engine. there's a state agency whose purpose is to protect workers from this sort of thing. |

I would contact the DOL and file a claim against them. They cannot retaliate against you for filing a claim. I would also write down your hours or ask for copies of your time for your records in case they seem to make a mistake on your pay. |
