On Indeed.com I found a salary for job that I am interviewing for. Do you think its correct?

Its for a Correspondence Advisor for JP Morgan Chase in San antonio, tx. It is a job where you type formal letters to customers regarding their recent inquiries about credit cards. You have to follow up with them also. I found the salary amount on Indeed.com which averages $44,000 per year. Do you think this is accurate?

If this is true, then the job sounds extremely attractive.
$44,000 for writing letters and following up seems almost too good to be true.
I would be very skeptical of what the website says. |

Perhaps they have a lot a standard responses, but even so, I'm assuming that you are composing or modifying the letters yourself, and that the job requires a reasonable amount of intelligence and writing ability, and some knowledge of the credit card industry. Plus the follow-up aspect probably means that you have to have some intelligence and be able to deal with customers who can have a wide variety of issues. So I suspect that the salary is probably reasonable. |
