If you are in the USA it depends upon your state's wage and hour laws. Google your state's name with "wage and hour law" and the agency that handles it will come up in the search (usually called department of labor or something similar). On the site look for "final paycheck" or "paychecks" and you will find the answer. If you need help email me what state you are in and I'll help you. |

Providing you don't owe the company any monies then you are to receive your check according to their payroll schedule. Most companies mail their paychecks out to their employees in your situation. So please be sure they have a correct address for you on file. Or you will be waiting an additional minimum of ten days to track it down and to allow time for the bank to put a hold on it. Each state has a different time requirement for the employer to have your check ready. In most cases, when notice is given prior to the last day, the final wages are to be paid on the last day of work. |
