Overtime/ holiday pay question.?

Ok, today is my 6th day in a row working in ONE work week.
48-hours. It should be overtime pay but, Its also a holiday. should i be getting double time, or triple time? or what should I be getting?
i live in california

All my coworkers are getting paid time and a half! today is their 40 hours

There's no law mandating double or triple time, or extra pay at all for holidays. There IS a law that mandates time and a half for hours over 40 in a week, and I believe that CA mandates overtime pay for hours over 8 in a day. But how is the work week defined? If it's Sunday through Saturday, which is common, then the clock on a new week started again yesterday so you do NOT have 6 days in one work week. |
