YES... actually they can fire you for almost anything they want, and deliberately lying on your resume is definitely a valid reason. It shows bad character which no company wants. |

yes, sometimes companies that what to fire someone but don't have a real reason (maybe lots of small reasons or you just aren't fitting in anymore) will go back and do a more detailed reference check to confirm that you didn't lie on your resume. If you did, they found their reason. |

they can fire u 10 years later.... there is no timetable to being fired if u lied on your resume. the second they find out they can and probably will fire u.. |
