Please really need advice?

The old saying "dress for success" goes hand in hand with "dress for the position you want not the one you are in".

In the atmosphere that you are trying to get into it widely accepted as business/business, in other words, clean shaven, pressed 2 or 3 piece suit and tie, and nice shoes. You can wear cologne/after shave but do not "OVERLOAD", a dash on the chin is just fine.

Since its legal, you have to spot the professional look. So a conservative business suit will work (charcoal, navy, gray) with good oxfords. They will ask you all the generics: Tell us about yourself, why you leaving your current job, what makes you tick, your 5 year goals, what drives you, why they should hire you and not the others, a few questions specific to your field etc. Don't get to that interview and behave like you're begging for the job, just be yourself, market yourself well and be confident. Will I get 5% of your first salary?

Have a well groomed hair cut and have a beard or mustache that is clean shaven. If you have long hair, cut it short (tell the barber you are going on an interview. Don't wear any after shave or cologne as it is distracting to the interviewer and it may affect the interview. wear a shirt and tie. wearing a suit might be going over the top but that's up to you. if you mean you're entering a law office, they might ask you about what you know about the job you're entering. they might confirm the stuff you wrote in you resume. if you mean you're just entering law school, they would try to ask you questions about why you want to be a lawyer, about your experiences getting your pre-law education. they would confirm the information you included in your resume.
