I was charged with a disorderly conduct a year ago when i was 16. I am now 17. I want to get a part time job and they are saying on the app " have you ever been convicted of a crime" not a felony.. but a crime..

i was charged with a disorderly conduct.. Does that mean i have to check "yes i have been convicted of a crime"
im confused.

I'm not a lawyer but i'm pretty sure crimes committed as a minor are sealed. and disorderly is low-on-the-totem-pole of crimes. if you stole a car it might be different. i dont think theyre going to find your disorderly during a background check, and if theyre hiring 17 yr olds i dont think it makes a big deal to the employer..
you're a kid, you're allowed to slip-up.

Charged with doesn't mean convicted. If charges were dropped, or you were put into some kind of a program where if you keep your nose clean for a certain length of time they'll be dropped, you don't have to say "yes" to that question.

Legally yes but since it is a junvinal case you might get away with it.
