I was very interested in going to school in this field. Do you think it's a good career to get into?

If you are smart, like to research and write, have good people skills, are organized, and a multi-tasker then paralegal could be a good career for you.
I don't know any paralegals that work 60-80 hours a week. Those are more the hours of attorneys. Paralegals do work full time, sometimes a little more. It is a high stress, fast paced job but rewarding at the same time.

No. You may be making money, but you'll be working 60 - 80 hours per week. Further, the attorneys sh1t on you all day long. And they knitpick. |

A paralegal job is very varied, but a lawyer position is even better. Why not just become a lawyer instead of a paralegal? Paralegals are very limited in what they can do, and even at some point, the salary tops out at a certain level. |
