I work in a tool company in Ohio. This tool company have distributors that own their own business as a franchise. I work in the customer service department and distributors call daily to place orders, track their shipments etc. One of the distributors made a comment last week that offended me greatly. He called I helped him politely and when he though i was off the phone commented to his customer that he don't know why my company keeps hiring stupid Spanish women, I let him know that i was still on the phone he laugh and hung up. This man represents the company i work for. I told the assistant manager about the incident, heard the call cause it was recorded and told me that the distributor was out of line, that he will pass it to the supervisor so some action can be taken.
Today i spoke to the supervisor and he was aware of the incident but had not done nothing about the issue.
Is there anything i can do?
