i really want to impress. i have no legal experience, but the boss is cool with training me. any tips on securing the position? i really want the job, but i hardly know about the position.

Are you familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access? Any time keeping or client management software? Each law office operates differently and you definitely don't need experience to land the job. Good skills to emphasize in your second interview would be: to be able to learn quickly, think on your feet, work well with others (collaborate, with a team) work well on your own, be organized, be timely, and to have an eye for detail (even with the most mundane projects). Be confident and amiable. Good luck. |
