Can someone help. I have a friend who escape from County jail to come home to care for his 5 kids, the mother abandon. Now he in trouble with the law because he escape and she walks with no complications. On top of all that father had kids for 4 years and they still coming after him for child support for kids he have. He was serving time for non child support for kids of a different mom. He only owe her $1500 or 45 days in jail. Since he escape and can't find any family or friends to care for his kids. What can he do? He suffer from severe Anthia's and not physically able to work. can't get SSI or nor welfare. He loves his kids very dearly and don'tt want todon'tthem especiallyy thespeciallyother took off and never came back, she no longer wanted to be a mother. Only 4 of the 5 is his the fifth childl belongs to another man and he does not want his own son.He does not have the finance to hire a lawyer and on the verge of becoming homeless with 5 kids. He is running out ot options he knows he broke the law by excaping, same time he is trying to protect is kids from more emotionall truemotionallytrauma

First of all, he is going to need to seek some legal help. If he doesn't have legal custody of the kids and he has escaped from jail, he can add kidnapping to his charges.
I don't know what state that you and your friend are living in. I am not sure if that matters in the long run. But in the short term, I wonder if we can't rally some kind of a support group on the internet?
I am a single mother on disability who is in a similar boat as your friend.
I am considered unable to raise my own child, so the state of California gave her to a relative who is crazy in his own right, but has a little money, so therefore, he is the preferred choice. I can see, if your friend is dealing with such irrational government factions as I had to, why he resprted to the extreme to regain custody of his kids. However, he will have to be on the run now, forever, and that is not going to work.
