Should I continue with law?
Find answers to your legal question.

Should I continue with law?

I don't know whether I should continue with law or not. I'm currently studying a double degree in law and commerce. And recently I dropped the law component. I am starting to have second thoughts on this. As continuing with law will take longer, I decided to drop it so I can graduate earlier and start earning money. Will I have a better job if I continue with law. Will it be easier to find a job? Employers would you rather employ someone with just a Commerce degree or Commerce/Law and why? Do you know anyone that has graduated with a law/commerce or any other degree with law? Do they have a good job? Was it easy for you or them to get a job? Will I be better off if I do Commerce and Law or not? I'm not even sure if law is for me. As in law school, everyone seems brighter, more articulate, more hardworking and wear better clothes than me. I don't seem to fit that. I don't think I am well informed but anything that help or any information or opinions would be much appreciated. I'm not sure whether to just do Commerce or do a dual degree. If I do a dual degree, I can only major in accounting. Though I would like to do finance as well. Any opinions, info, comments, career opportunities will be much appreciated. Or tell me if your doing law to. Or anything along those lines.

dear mailaccount63, so its hard to find a job with law. but they tell us that if you do law it opens many doors. but they aren't specific with this. I think people find jobs but don't become lawyers. so you think I have more opportunites with accounting?

Jobs in the field of Law are drying up FAST!! This is NOT a good field to invest in. Many reasons. Main reason? We simply have WAY TOO MANY Attorneys - we have a GLUT of Lawyers.

Which means, even IF you finish your law degree, you won't be able to find a job when you are done.

Suggestion: Steer towards Commerce OR Accounting.

Good luck.
