Should I get a lawyer or not? Minor possession of beer?

I got a traffic ticket for minor possession of beer. THAT'S IT. i have a court date in a month. i wasn't charged with anything other than the possession. i'm 18 years old and i have a clean record (and a license with 0 points). i didn't get a dui, i wasn't under the influence, and i didn't have an open container.. and i offered to take the BAL tests. should i get a lawyer or just pleed guilty?

you should probably plea no contest that way your guilty but no guilty dont think you need a lawyer but you can talk to a public pretender hahahaha public defender who they say works for you but in reallity they work for the state and will make you plead guilty so dont fall for there antics its all a money game tell the judge you will represent your self and plea no contest and take the fine that all they will give you for that charge i dont even see how they could charge you for that if your old enough to purchse beer and you didnt drink any or have any open in the vehicle sounds bogus to me unless the law is 21 in your state then they will want to know who bought it for you other than that its a bolonge charge beer is legal to buy never plea guilty if if you guilty you can go to your local library and read up on the charge and see what they have on you read and learn because you dont want anycharges on your record they will show up for ever when you try and get a job law library is free go prepared so you no what your talkin about when you get there and make them look like idiots if you really want to beat the charge go to court the day the cop who wrote you the ticket is off you can find ou that info to there are many ways to beat the system but you have to read dont just take the charge like most people do even though that charge would only be a mistermeaner good luck ive been threw court system many of times and wish i had none some of the stuff i had learned threw the years ive was in jail and even wrote a letter to the judge when i went in front on him with my public pretender who told me i was getting 5 years the judge gave me time served 45 days the lawyer about dropped he said i dont no what you did but your lucky i didnt tell him what i did so you can even explain a letter to ther judge its easyer to explane to him then when you infront of a full court room and they rush everything cause its all about the mighty dollar find the judge who will be presiding that day and write a letter explain what happend and that your inacint and the police are picking on you and you did nothing wrong hey its worth a try good luck and no im not a lawyer but i did stay in a holiday inn
