Should I send out a mass email to humiliate this man?

Several months ago I was working for a company in sales. Another representative had to split his commission with me because he sold a deal to one of my clients. When he found out he had to split it, he started screaming at me in front of several people which lasted for about 2 minutes. He even made an attempt to lunge at me which was thwarted by other people. I went to HR the next day and reported the incident. He was going to get fired, but I heard through the grapevine that if he did get fired he was going to do something to me. I should have gone to the police at that point but instead I called HR and told them I didn't want him fired, so they just wrote him up and that was the end of it. To this day I am bothered by the fact I did not get that spaz fired. A few months later I was fired for some total nonesense. What If I were to send an ANONYMOUS mass email now to many people in the company exposing what he did, just to humiliate him? There would be no trace to me. any risk to me?

Any email is traceable . Since you are going to send multiple mails, you are inviting trouble which may land you behind bars !!
Please drop all such illegal ideas !!

Anger is the poison you drink while you wait for your adversary to die.

Rise above this and keep going.

You made a mistake by not letting this person get fired. That jeopardizes the safety of others that still work there.

But move on and find a new situation.

What do you have to win by sending this kind of e-mail. If you don't have anything to win (except for revenge, which is not a positive motivation), just let it go and focus on your future.
He isn't worth wile all your energy!

They would all know it's you because you got fired and you are doing it out of spite and anger!

Rise above your own thoughts on this and get on with life. EVERYONE would know exactly who did it and you could end up in a court of law being sued.

Babby Roadkill
That would be a cowardly thing to do. He dealt on his grievances with you face to face, even though screaming isn't all that civilized. But at least he didn't hide behind anonymity to try a lame smear campaign. Be a man, don't be craven

Superficial anonymity should be easy to do; however, in doing this you have become the same type of personality you claim to resent. He's out of your life. Stand tall and move on. Good Luck.

I think you should do it, especially if it's funny

Let him know that what he did is not acceptable

Give him the Tibet treatment!!!!!!!

Trust me ALL emails are traceable. No such thing as an email being untraceable to any person in particular. In short, if this mail is ever traced back to you and it very well can (recently fired? who else would be motivated to do such a thing?) The company can pursue legal action against you as well as the person you want to humiliate. I too can be quite vengeful, but before executing any idea make sure there are no legal consequences. Unfortunately, your idea has legal consequences attached to it.

Put this bad experience behind you. Dwelling on it and planning to get back to this guy will not do you any good. Besides, if you send out those humiliating emails, you might be in more trouble that you can ever imagine.

You overestimate your skills for anonymity.
STOP this.
Put your energies into finding a new job. Life isn't always fair. Personally I wouldn't want such a vindictive person working for me. It doesn't sound like it was his fault you were fired from your posted message. Move forward!

if you wanna look shallow, sure... i'd let it go.

They probley would know it was you, e=ecause peole are smart enough to trace emails, back and if they find it wrong or threatning they can report which then ur email could get investigated and linked back to you, by you IP address

Seems like you have a very unreasonable colleague. I had a similiar encounter in the past too. Since you are leaving, and you are thinking of such an intention, then my opinion is to just go ahead, and mass email to everyone, including the CEO/MD.

Just make sure he is not those insane type who will actually chase after you with a gun or something. Oh yes, do not include him in the mail. Let everyone else get it except him.

Alternatively you can be a gentleman and just leave things as it is and focus on your next career. Good luck, mate.
