I have been on maternity leave for two months, since then two of my fellow co-workers have left and mind you there is only three of us in this pod. With that being said there were some mistakes found on all our accounts. We are all to blame ( one of the Men who left is letting me know this info.). Well, I called my job and asked them what was going on and where do I stand in all of this mess since my co-works left and what should I expect upon my return. So i was told that I would be placed on a sixty day probation and with no mistakes made i'm still not guaranteed my job after the sixty days is up. Well they sent me a performance sheet for me to sign but what I noticed on the paper was that the mistakes listed were the faults of my other co-workers. I do not agree with what they have on the paper considering half of it does not pertain to me. SHOULD I SIGN IT???

Do NOT sign it. Tell them that you cannot legally and in good conscience sign a document that makes untrue statements. If they try to get you to elaborate, tell them (politely) that you have been advised not to discuss this matter further. If they ask, advised by whom? Just politely tell them again that you cannot discuss it further.
Be as polite and calm as possible but also firm.
Then, if you can afford it, seek the advice of a labor attorney. |

No, No do not sign anything. Why should you be accountable for other people's mistakes. I would speak to your manager and the Human Resources Department. |

No, don't sign it. They will more than likely write on it "refused to sign". If you did not make the mistakes, tell HR you want to file a complaint. Get a copy of it. Then if you suffer any retaliation from this, file a complaint with EEO. Best of luck! |

Call the HR person or your manager and tell them, that you are being accused of mistakes that you did not make. Therefore you cannot sign the paper. If they insist on you signing the paper, then get an attorney. Make sure that is a labor attorney. |
