There need be no doubt that you should and must engage a lawyer to move a bail petition for you after you surrender in the court or move an anticipatory bail for you !!

The question is what is the sentence that comes along with such an infraction. Probation? Jail time? When you say evading arrest in a motor vehicle do you mean you were speeding along a highway or street and they had to chase you down? If this is the case. Yeah. You better get an attorney.

Yes. With an attorney you have a better chance of avoiding a conviction. Perhaps you can get court supervision and traffic school. It improves your ability to get employment if you don't have to admit to a conviction. Hopefully you have learned your lesson and won't make such poor choices in future, and will never have another!

I am not sure what state you live in but some courts have programs where you can participate and get this taken off of your record.

chances are if your are not a lawyer you wont know about them or some of the other legal loopholes.

IF this charge is a felony, you wont have any choice in the matter, YOU WILL NEED A LAWYER

call around and get your free consultation and see what the consenses is

DOnt simply call and say to a lawyer, 'do you think I need one'
The have houseboats to pay for this time of the year so the answer will be a resounding yes

Better to explain what is going on and ask them what they can do for you
and how much will it cost

versantly
no lawyer needed -pay your fine and make better choices.
