My friend wants to know if there is anyway she can keep her SSI and SSDI (the SSDI is from her dad) when she gets married? She does not have her SSI and SSDI but was told she will defiantly get it in APRIL of next year but her and her fiance' wants to get married next year also

Marriage to someone that is not a Social Security recipient will terminate the benefits from her dad. The SSI is based on income, so the marriage itself does not terminate benefit, but if there is additional income from the spouse the benefits could terminate. |

The SSI might or might not be affected by her marriage. The SSDI, since it's from her dad, most likely will but will stop anyway when she turns 18, or turns 19 if she's still in high school. |

being married has nothing to do with it. As long as she qualifies for the SSI or SSDI she will get those payment.
I do however must say that she cannot get both if she is disable she will get the SSDI, if she is eligible for SSI she will get that not both. |
