Hi,
I used to work for New York City, Brooklyn as a computer programmer on contract basis. I worked there for 14 months.
Three Months back my manager asked me to send timing emails (Time In, lunch out, lunch in and when I go home), there are 20 contractors under my manager and only me and other guy has to send these types emails, I asked my managers that why only two of 20 contractors has to do this, and I didn’t get a reason.
I asked other contractors who works there for more than 5 years or so, but they have never heard anything like this too, I was very unhappy about this as I have more than 10 years of experience, So I quit my job last Thursday after giving two weeks’ notice.
Now, someone told me that I can report this kind of things to New york city, but I don’t know where.
Any help?

Try DCAS-Department of Citywide Administrative Services. Although they deal with civil service candidates, perhaps they can either help, or refer you to the proper agency. click on "Contact DCAS" and send what you've stated above. |
