Vacation pay after quitting in WI?

I want to quit my job without a two-weeks notice tomorrow. I have over 60 hours of vacation time acquired. I was wondering, in the state of Wisconsin, will I get paid for that even without a two weeks notice?

If you accrue vacation over time, you must be paid those hours at the time of termination, regardless of the amount of notice you provide. You have "earned" those hours.
"Use it or lose it" vacation plans are almost always illegal, even in WI. :) The supporting case law is Suastez v. Plastic Dress-Up Co, 1982, if you need it. |
