Well, what i would say here is that none can be better than a lawyer who would help you solve your problems for sure, it is better to consult him/her for such technical matters.

you have not described the incident you have succumbed to, therfore particulrly which sectionss wud apply at thsi juncture its difficult to answer.
IPC sections will be applicable in your case, you need to file an FIR against the accused and take up the matter before the magistrate court.
