What Professions Can be Held by Taking a Test and Not Having a College Degree?

What professions can one have these days that require only taking a test? I know there are a few states that only require the passage of the bar exam, for example, to become a lawyer rather than having to go to law school. Or that one need only obtain sponsorship and pass the Series 7 and Series 63 to become a stock broker. What other professions are like that? How about practicing medicine in other countries by merely taking a test? Thanks.

In NJ, you can take the fireman/police tests without having a degree. But if you wanna be a NJ State trooper, you have to have 60 college credits and It doesnt have to be in criminal justice. It can be 60 credits in ANYTHING. You dont even need an Associates degree. |

There are quite a few. For example, working in the airport as the security has a computerized exam, also UPS and Fed Ex have jobs without degrees which may have tests. |

Real Estate but u do need to take 7 classes (lasting one month each) pass them and take the state exam.
No GED or high school diploma at least in texas.
You can take 2 classes a month or more if u can handle it and have the time for it since they are twice a week 4 hours long each. |

What state doesn't require a law degree? I think you're confused, maybe they don't require a degree from said state but they need one from somewhere. Besides the point, you would fail the Bar without a law degree unless you were like Will Hunting (from Good Will Hunting) and soaked up everythng you read like a sponge... |
