OK so I was just wondering what were some good Law schools that are not like extremely expensive but are really good. I also want a school where I could possible take creative writing because I can't decide what to be, a lawyer or a writer. Thanks!

Law schools teach the subjects required by the American Bar Assoc., creative writing is not one of those subjects. In your first year of law school you will probably be in a class that teaches writing briefs and motions -- not creative writing and not the background you need to become a published author.
You should pick up the creative writing courses in your undergrad studies. Creative writing will probably not help you in law school, where the writing is much much different.
Law school is the study of law related subjects. Go to www.abanet.org for more info. The classes taught in law school are usually more about the substantive issue of law, like criminal law, tort law, real estate law.
Before you opt for the very expensive and tough road of law school, please make sure that you want to be an attorney. Right now the legal profession is pretty much full. Those who are graduating law school this year are scrambling just to find a job, on top of a huge debt for education. |
