Medical field - pharmacist pays really well, nursing will be high demand and pays reasonably well but not 100K, doctors, etc.
Looking for something that doesn't require grad school? Engineering fields usually do pretty well. Don't do something like english, anthropology etc, cause you will not do well. |

Med field. Doctor, dentist, pharmacist, physician assistant will all put you easily into six figures and be stable in demand careers. There are a lot of shortages in these fields, which is good for the job seeker. |

Over the last decade or so, EVERYONE thought a college degree was the key to success.
Now and over the next many years. it's the trades that are going to be most sought after (plumbers, carpenters, electricians). I know for a fact that in the next five years there will be a shortage of over 10,000 aircraft mechanics. Air Traffic controllers are also getting critical. (all us ol'timers are retiring)
When a critical need is not filled, the wages go up accordingly. |

The largest growing career over the next few decades is in the IT business. If you want to look for a great job that pays well thats were you want to start. I'm a Networking major and i have the potential of earning 150k a year as a Networking Administrator. Any job in the IT business will pay well and will be growing in demand over the next decade. In my option its the type of career to be getting into. |
