What can I do with a criminal justice degree in the court system?

Here I am, starting my second semester of college and I'm having second thoughts about my current major. I believe I want to change my major, but I'm not sure what to. With a criminal justice degree I know you can become a cop or a social worker... but what else? Any help would be fantastic!
Additional Details
I am currently a physician assistant major, but recently I've been thinking it's not right for me.
Don't want to go through all the schooling for law school, so that's a big no.
What exactly does a paralegal do?

You can also become a paralegal (with some extra training). Or, if you're up for it, go to law school and become an attorney- I'm in law school right now.
There are so many jobs in the criminal justice field that dont have a well-known title, but are good for getting into the field. What was your original career plan when you chose that as your major? |
