What career would be better? Education or Paralegal?

I need some good advice here ?. I am a college student about to transfer to the university to finish my bachelor’s degree in Education. I have an associate’s degree in Liberals Art already, but I don’t really know what can I do with that associate’s degree. I was thinking about getting and associate’s degree in Paralegal Technology. Does anybody know anything about this degree? The only reason I want to get the Paralegal associates is to get a better job not because I want to be involved in the law field. I am not making much money at this moment, and I have to pay for school myself. I am very disappointed that I am always I mean at all times broke. I don’t even know if I should even go to school anymore. I have two jobs one part- time in the morning and full-time at night and believe it or not all my money goes to school I usually take about 5 to 4 courses. I am also very disappointed because I wanted to get a master’s degree in psychology, and my gpa is only 2.3 not good. So if you know some good information about the paralegal degree I really appreciate your info.

I have an Associates Degree in Paralegal Technology. I work 8:30 to 5pm, Monday though Friday, I get all major holidays off with pay and 2 weeks at Christmas and I love my job. It's interesting and really not that hard. With being a teacher you have to really have patience, not that I don't love kids but I like to be around adults all day not kids. The pay is fantastic, great benefits, however you have to remain bias as everyone is Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. (I work for a criminal attorney who has been on American Justice twice) very interesting work. The degree itself is not to hard to get, but you do have to have excellent spelling and word skills. Also you need to be a multi task person. |

My buddy became a plumbing intern when we were 18. We're both 23 now, and he makes over 75000 a year. By the time he's 30, he'll have his own buisness.
As more and more facets of our lives become automated, the best jobs will be in the skilled trade industry. Everyone with degrees will be hard-pressed to find work in the upcoming recession, as those who have the higher utility in mechanics and structure will do well.

paralegal degree is awesome. i went through that program and opened my own biz doing paralegal work from home. i also had my biz set up to send out paralegals to fill in for law firms when they were short.
you can also work for some businesses where a legal dept needs help, but not a pricey lawyer.
the knowledge is well worth it! |
