Anything that you had primary responsibility for, whether you got paid or not.
Your resume is what gets you in the door for a job interview. Once there, you have to be able to "defend" what you put on your resume. If you wrote the music for a film (I'm assuming we're talking at least a step up from home movie here), then by all means list it in your resume.
If you don't feel comfortable listing this as a job, you may want to put it under a section heading "capabilities" or something like that: that you know how to write music and score a film.
Good luck! |

Free jobs you did would go under a separate section titled "Volunteer Work"
Anything that you got paid for should be under the title "Employment" or something like that. |

You can put anything you want to. For unpaid jobs, or things like babysitting and dog walking, you'd usually only put them if they had some relationship to the job you were applying for. |

A "job" is any payed employment, full or part time. |

it depends what job you are applying for
for your very first job, babysitting & dogwalking count. after you are out of high school, no |

technically you need to be paying taxes on it for it to be called a job. don't put babysitting though because it isn't a real job. |

Any serious involvement in an endavour. A friend of mine got picked over a field of others for an English Technical Writing TA's job at a University because he also listed his former job as a bartender. They felt it showed he had "people skills". Have another! Regards, Larry. |

This that you have been hired for from a company such as working at a gas station or selling insurance. |

a job is something you did on a regular basis and received money for.
volunteering is something you did for free |

Anything that you got paid for, or volunteered! |

A Job - has a pay, has a start date (appointment order) and may be, a relieving order.
Other things, categorize under Professional Achievements or Other Assignments or Extra Qualifications. If you can get a certificate of appreciation for the music composition, mention it under Distinctions/Awards received. |

Any job that you got paid for, but I would not include babysitting, dog walking, unless that is the type of job you are going for. |

paid or not, songwriting is awesome. if it got used, that's all that counts. odd jobs like dog walking are fine also. there are plenty of people who do it for a living. |

Anything that you can put your time to and skill but you might want to label it as volunteer but it sometimes can still count even with no pay as a job like in high school students should put down Officer helper or Library helper thats what i was taught in my orint. to life and careers we did resumes and everything and it does help to be fill in spacer to make it look like even if it is your first job atleast you might have a bit of skill |
