What do legal assistants make in your area...salary-wise?

Some get paid a straight salary and some get paid a percent of the cases on a case by case basis.

new jersey/ new york metro area.
entry level around $30,000
3 years experience more like $35,000 to 40,000
5 years experience $45,000
and if you have a paralegal certificate and bachelors degree
you could eventually earn more like $50,000 +++

Keep in mind if you work in NYC Manhatten.....the salaries will be a little bit higher than I listed.
