I would like to possibly know the hours they have to work per day, salary ,and years of school after high school. and also what skills i would kneed to be good at to do these, mathematics, science, speech. etc.

you can get all these information to any university school. Anyway, when in comes to job security i will go for pharmacist. Health Care job is good in the future. |

Do what you love. Don't pursue a career based on how much you can make or how much school is involved. Figure out what would make you happy, then do that. If you go for the big bucks, you may or may not get them, but you'll find yourself trapped in a job you hate but can't give up because you're addicted to the income. |

all are boring to me. Do something that makes your happy and satisfies and accomplished at the end of a day, not that bring much money (well that a nice bonus too) but you don't wanna end up like in that commercial "not another day, not another day".
Dentis - you will have to deal with bad breath, rotten teeth of some ppl. Lawyer - it tons of time in the library and more books - if you dont have passion for that - dont even go there.
and pharmacist - ehh... chemistry, labs
all have good $$ but again pick something u really wanna do |

Corporate law is what I want to do, i've looked it up before and apparently you may be working up to 50 hours per week depending on what you do. Salary is pretty decent. Especially if you get your own firm. It's about 6 years to get a degree and be able to practice law, but it would be more if you want to do a PhD and get more qualifications. Speech, english, languages and some history are helpful for law. But there are no pre-requisites from what i've heard. No idea about dentists or pharmacists though sorry. |

I am a pharmacist and studying law part time. I agree with what every one is saying- do what you love, at the end of the day you spend most of your life at work. My parents suggested that I do pharmacy when I finished school because of job gaurantee and saying that lawyers are liars and I am too honest to do that job, after ten years of being a pharmacist and experiencing the world I realise one thing, not all lawyers are liars and that you need to be passionate about your work. I love pharmacy, you talk to people all day and it is very social, but I will now pursue my childhood dream. Do your self a favour- pick a career that you will enjoy because you will be spending alot of hours at work. The more money you make the more you spend, money is insignificant. |
