I love to help people. Although I don't want to be a teacher. I love being around people and talking to new people. Just I have no clue what to major in. Please help. Thanks

I believe that any major you choose will be a chance to help and meet new people. It's very sincere to hear that you're actually considering your genuine concern for other people as a standard in choosing a career path. But might as well think also of your talents, assets and even your weaknesses. Try to picture yourself in the future. For example, when I was about to decide on what course I'd be taking, I was deciding between dentistry and advertising(very different fields,right?) But then I tried picturing myself of which of the two fields would i be working on, let's say after 5 or 10 years and still enjoy doing it. Try doing it also. Hope i've hepled you. |

Hi. This may be a new concept, or not, but have you ever checked out Scientology? Believe it or not the church, Hubbard business school and Dianetics Centers are actually all certified courses with Basic Volunteer Minister and Academy courses. If you don't know the Church and the International Association of Scientology support HUNDREDS of NON STOP community and social betterment projects! You don't have to convert or whatever, you just have to be someone who truely wants to HELP! Please take a look and see because the word needs more people like us who actually want to do good and make a positive impact in this world! And as any job (if you join staff) it does pay. LOL |

Not sure where you're going to school, but at my university, there's a family youth and community sciences (it's not actually science-based), which is really interesting and flexible as far as what you want to study. good luck! |
