I left my job because of a manager that was verbally abusive among other things and HR wouldn't do anything about it, etc, etc, etc and I was denied unemployment because that reason for quitting is not attributable to the employer. What is then?

You can complain all you want about your manager but it will not be accepted as a reason to quit when it comes to getting unemployment. |

I would think that if you were in a threatening situation and you reported it but nobody would do anything about it (assuming your claims are valid) then I would think the reason you quit is attributable to your employer. |
