I was a supervisor for a race course. they fired me for job abandonment.to explain.I was @ work when my wife called me a told me she needed my attention @home asap.before i left work i called an in-the-department co-worker that was on shift with me @ the time that i had an emergency @ the house and that i had to leave.then i went to the department office and left a note for my supervisor on the secretary's desk with a reason and the time and date.keeping in mind i was the only supervisor on shift and returned to work on the following day. |
